Good afternoon! Just a reminder that we are one week away from Election Day on April 2.
Each of the five individuals who serve on the Board of Education do so with a five-year term and every year there is a member whose seat is up for election. There are two candidates who have filed to run in this year’s election for the seat representing Ward 4. The candidates for the Ward 4 seat are (in alphabetical order): Brent England and Brandon Shreffler.
The candidate who receives at least 50% of the vote will begin serving the five-year term for Ward 4 at the next Board of Education meeting, which is scheduled for April 8.
It is important to note that while the candidates up for election must reside in the Ward 4 boundaries, any registered voter who lives in the boundaries of the Owasso Public School District is eligible to cast a vote.
