Working closely together, we cultivate a caring environment that embraces our students’ uniqueness and encourages their learning through individual support, high academic standards, and inspiration. Our goal is to see all our students become successful individuals who make our world a better and more exciting place, both now and in the future.

School Accolades & Profile

Bailey Elementary has been honored with the proud status of being named a Great Expectations Model School every year since the 2010 school year. We have also been recognized as a State Reward School in the category of High Performing Schools by the Oklahoma State Department of Education.

Our site is one of nine elementary schools in Owasso. We are located north of Bailey Ranch Golf Course in the northwest area of town. Established in 1994-1995 we have grown steadily since. We are fortunate as an Owasso school and thankful to OPS for their ongoing efforts to maintain smaller class sizes in our elementary schools.

Bailey is made up of a dynamic building of educators that are trained in best instructional practices and the implementation of Great Expectations methodology. We are proud to state that all of the teachers at Bailey Elementary are highly qualified educational and instructional professionals. Our support professionals in varying roles complement and support our school helping to make Bailey the BEST. Our entire school family works together to create a personalized caring learning environment and overall school culture that is second to none.

Bailey educators utilize a multi-tiered system of support for all learners to assist their academic growth and development, and student successes are celebrated. Our school houses a number of educational programs such as music education, physical education, technology education, special education, enrichment education, English language development education, and support services through the Owasso Indian Education department.

Special interest opportunities are available for extracurricular activities for upper elementary students including Student Leadership Council, Honor Choir, Taiko Drumming, Academic Bowl, and Robotics.

Our school engages students through technology integration with a fully equipped instructional computer lab, student interactive boards in each classroom, and student device carts equipped for grades K-5 with varying devices from iPads to Chromebooks.

Welcoming all students, our library serves as a learning commons for opportunities of wonder. This special space is equipped with our students in mind. Rich with varied reading material, award-winning books, student interactive areas, technology tools, and a Maker Space for STEM exploration and engagement activities, our library is the hub of our school.
