Bailey Elementary is pleased that our upper elementary students in fourth and fifth grade have the opportunity to participate in a variety of student activities. Listed below are the groups being offered at this time.
STUDENT LEADERSHIP COUNCIL (SLC)

About Us
Bailey Student Leadership Council provides students the opportunity to practice leadership roles by serving the school and the Owasso community.
SLC is made of up several service-oriented roles within our school. All positions must have parent/guardian approval and students must complete an application process for selection.
Open to Grades: 4th & 5th unless otherwise specified
SLC Ambassadors
About Us
Students serve as “tour guides” to make new students to Bailey familiar with the layout of the school and key people, welcome special guests, set up and take down flags for Ram Rally each week, and assist with other tasks and responsibilities as designated.
Details
Ambassadors must apply for this position. He/she may need to be available before school or in the evening on announced days. Teachers will make recommendations based on the responsibility and maintenance of passing grades. Open to 5th grade only.
SLC Task Team
About Us
Students will have varied responsibilities serving on this team. Students will assist multiple teachers throughout the building with varied tasks and efforts.

Students apply for this position. He/she must be able to work well independently to assist teachers with a variety of tasks. Tasks are on an "as needed" basis.
SLC Library Aides
About Us
Aides will assist our media specialist with shelving and checking in books, and helping younger students find books.

Students apply for this position. He/she must be able to work well independently to assist with a variety of tasks. Aides are scheduled on a weekly basis.
SLC PE Aides

Aides will assist our school under the guidance of our PE teacher with student activities and assist with the care of gym equipment.

ACADEMIC BOWL

About Us
To provide a fun and encouraging academic competition for students. Students will practice weekly and participate in two Academic Bowl Meets during the school year.

Students apply for a position and teams are created. Depending on yearly interest, students may have to try out in order to make the team. Grades: 4th & 5th
FIRST LEGO LEAGUE ROBOTICS

Mission Statement: To provide academic challenges that are collaborative in nature combining legos, coding/programs, and problem-solving scenarios for students.

HONOR CHOIR

About Us
Bailey is one of nine schools that participate in the District Honor Choir every year. Students practice at individual school sites and then combine to create a large choir singing multiple parts in harmony with each other. Additionally, members of the Honor Choir may also qualify for the Circle the State with Song group.

OHITSUJI DAIKO (DRUM CLUB)
